Biscuit Tin Studios provides studio space to a diverse group of artists and makers working across a huge array of art forms - from painting and printmaking to glass and furniture making. The former factory houses 40 artists' studios and a gallery, but retains a utilitarian vibe where art is made and practice flourishes.
Biscuit Tin is one of three biscuit-based art venues in the Ouseburn area which, along with sister venues the Biscuit Factory and the B Box, opens its doors to the public for events, workshops and exhibitions throughout the year.

Ouseburn Open Studios Weekend
November 2026 The OOS provide an opportunity to visit individual studios in the art quarter of Newcastle. The Biscuit Tin Studios will open its doors for the weekend on 28 and 29 November, 10 am till 5 pm. As well as an exhibition of works from the studio artists, several studios will be open for you to visit to meet our resident artists and makers. |
