Martin is a Scottish artist now based in Newcastle at Studio 5 at the Biscuit Tin Studios. A painter, printmaker and illustrator, Martin's work very much captures both immediacy and the absurd.

Martin's paintings, primarily landscapes, are warm reflections of the North East. His often published illustrations and cartoons are mainly satirical in nature, casting a sardonic eye on political landscapes.  Martin continues to exhibit and to run workshops, along with making limited and open edition prints using intaglio and relief printing.
